Good is the enemy of great

Publicity Queen Grabs Courier Mail Front Page

 April 2010

Publicity Queen has scored another coup for client, Property Pursuit, securing extremely valuable front page coverage of The Courier Mail on the weekend of 17-18 April 2010.

“This is exposure that money – literally - cannot buy… no-one can purchase the entire space of the front page of a major metropolitan newspaper,” said PRincipal of Publicity Queen, Ms Sally Romano.

Winners of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland’s Award for Excellence for Buyer’s Agent of the Year in 2008, 2009 and 2010, Property Pursuit were featured in the article that captured big headlines, outlining how property sales were heating up again in the Brisbane residential market.

Working closely with the Courier Mail on behalf of Property Pursuit, Publicity Queen liaised with the newspaper to position real estate industry expert Meighan Hetherington of Property Pursuit as a credible and knowledgeable spokesperson, whose opinion was valued by the publication, and was then given proper credence by its property editor.

In so doing, the coverage in turn placed Property Pursuit at top-of-mind for potential buyers and investors in the Brisbane property market.

Because Property Pursuit works directly with buyers they are at the true coal face of the real estate market, and therefore are always the first to spot trends, hence the strength of the value of their advice to journalists and editors at the Courier Mail.

Publicity Queen, who took on the Property Pursuit account in 2009, estimate the value of the front page coverage is in excess of $150,000 for a full-sized story with colour photo on the front page.
